RSVP Now for our June 1 Cat Nail Trim Day
If you have a farm, barn, warehouse, feed store, or any location that attracts rodents, having a couple "barn cats" on patrol can reduce or even eliminate this problem. They are especially helpful for organic farms who do not use pesticides.
Barn cats are typically feral - fearful of people - but many do come to socialize with their daily caretakers. We try to place cats in pairs when possible although some cats do prefer to be the one and only.
The cats we place are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. We do not expect them to see a vet annually like a house cat would, however we do expect them to receive emergency care if they become sick or injured.
All the cats pictured are currently living on the streets of Bridgeport. They are timid but not aggressive and we would love to see them each placed into a permanent location.
